The design should illustrate the contestants’ creative fashion series with the contest theme (3-5 outfits)

Design must be based on the contestants’ own design concept and inspiration without publication

Clear representation of current trend and cultural characteristics

Distinctive style, well presented, clothing and accessories in good order

Design Drawings: color effect drawing (27cm*40cm) with attachment of theme, structural drawings, design inspiration and sample fabrics (5cm*5cm) (3-5 outfits)

Clothing and Fashion: Designed and made by the contestants independently

Candidates must be at or under 35 years of age (i.e. be born on or after January 1, 1971), regardless of nationality and geographic location


	One Gold Award with cash prize of CNY 20,000 with return air ticket to and from Beijing and free sightseeing tour for one week;


	Two Silver Awards with cash prize of CNY 15,000 with return air ticket to and from Beijing and free sightseeing tour for one week;


	Two Bronze Awards with cash prize of CNY 10,000;

	Several Participating Country Awards with cash prize of CNY 3,000;

	Several Excellence Awards with cash prize of CNY 1,000;

	Best Illustration, Best Fabrics Re-make Award and Best Technique Workmanship Award each with cash prize of CNY 1,000.

Jury Team: The jury will comprise of international well-known scholars, designers and fashion critics.

Preliminary Evaluation: based on design drawing submitted and shortlisted candidates will be informed in written form in December 2007.

Final and Award: shortlisted candidates should bring their own garment to Beijing for final competition held in March 2008.

Design drawings should be submitted before the deadline of November 15, 2007 (as indicated by postmark). Whether the drawings are in the shortlist or not by the preliminary evaluation, they will not be returned;

Personal particulars of the candidate such as nationality, name, sex, age and detailed contact address (with postal code, fax no., tel. no. and email) must be clearly stated at the back of fashion drawing;

Shortlisted candidates will be responsible for their own traveling cost to and from Beijing. The organizing committee will afford Four-day accommodation for the shortlist in Beijing;

The organizers have right to use the submitted drawings from promotion purposes in the future.
